We can't all be seated at the top !

We can't all be seated at the top !

Imagine being in a community where every diploma or degree certificate holder aspires to be a founder of some sort. It would be better if the motive is the awareness of one's visionary capabilities and aptitude. If the motive is the desire for fancy titles, being own boss, escaping the 9-to-5 routine, and being that self-made young person who gets to be interviewed, that is worse.

The community has real problems that need smart young people to solve. The community cares much about solutions and less about the position you hold when taking part.

Suppose all the aspiring founders succeed, where will they find people smart enough to implement their visions ? To establish order, every smart young person out there must not be a founder. The majority have to take a decent job, bring value to the community, provide for family and derive satisfaction in being occupied. It is okay to be part of an organization that aligns with the way in which you want to add value to the community. Imagine the compromise of quality by an employee who is partially committed to their job, subconsciously scheming to quit and go for their own endeavours.

Let's cut off all the motivational speech frenzy and embrace reality !
